Find yourself on this list, and it tells you which page is yours
Five kinds of people use magraft. Find yourself below and it tells you where to go.
I own or run the property
A house you live in, a house you rent out, an office, a shop, a plot or a whole portfolio. You do not have to know which trade you need - only what kind of problem you have.
I do the work
Builders, painters, plasterers, tilers, carpenters, interior designers, plumbers, electricians, cleaners, gardeners, signage crews, architects, engineers and surveyors.
I sell materials
Yards, counters, depots and manufacturers who hold stock and deliver it.
I hire out machines
Excavators, TLBs, scaffolding, generators, compactors, mixers and lifting equipment, operated or dry.
I move loads
Tippers, flatbeds, skips and haulage, in the city, across the country or across a border.
How an owner arrives
I need someone now
Urgent or standard work. One provider or a small chosen set, never a broadcast.
I need this supplied or hired
Plant, transport, site clearing, or a full bill of quantities.
I need a whole project done
You describe the outcome. magraft assembles the stack and comes back with one proposal.
Look after this property
The care layer. Recurring work, planned maintenance and everything the building throws up.
What magraft is, and is not, responsible for
| Model | Best for | Who contracts whom | Risk posture |
|---|---|---|---|
| Verified Introduction | Ongoing domestic help and standing arrangements | You and the provider contract each other directly once the introduction is made | magraft checks and introduces. It does not employ anyone and does not guarantee future conduct. |
| Booking | Cleaning, gardening, small repairs and standard tasks | You and an independent provider, with magraft handling the booking | Scope, cancellation, incident and rework rules apply to the booking. |
| Quote | Repairs and works where nobody knows the scope until someone looks | You choose a provider after the quote. The contract may be direct. | Nothing starts before the quote is approved. Materials and variations are written down. |
| magraft Managed | Renovations, builds, BOQs, multi-trade work, signage and facilities contracts | You contract magraft. magraft appoints and coordinates the trades and suppliers. | Milestones, controlled payments, acceptance criteria and a named delivery responsibility. |
What magraft earns, and what it refuses to earn
magraft takes a share of the transaction. Not a subscription to be listed, not a fee to be seen, and not a lead sold on the chance it turns into work - a share of the job itself, on work magraft introduced, coordinated or carried. The commercial basis is shown to you before you accept it, and the provider sees their side before they accept it.
What magraft will not do is charge a provider to be seen, charge for a mark, or sell a lead that might not be real work. That model earns money from people being desperate, and it makes the list worse every year it runs.
| Rule | Applies |
|---|---|
| Listing and application are free | Every pillar, every country |
| magraft is paid out of the transaction | A share of the job, never a subscription and never a lead fee |
| Jobs start at about US$100 | Below that the trip costs the provider more than the work pays |
| Verification is never sold | A mark is earned by evidence or it does not exist |
| No auction for contact details | Providers never bid to see a phone number |
| Terms before acceptance | The work, the place, the time and the basis |
| Placement work pays the worker in full | magraft never takes a share of a wage |
| Suspension needs a reason | Written, with an appeal, except for immediate safety |
magraft earns on the job, not on the listing
One basis, stated in the open, the same for every pillar and every country.
Listing is free and staying listed is free. No subscription, no fee to be seen, and no charge to open a phone number.
magraft takes a share of the transaction on work it introduced, coordinated or carried. You see the basis before you accept the job, and so does the other side.
Roughly a hundred dollars of work is the floor. A single light fitting is not what this platform is for, and pretending otherwise wastes a provider's trip.
The things people ask first
Why four contracts instead of one?
Because a weekly clean and a house build are not the same risk. Mixing them is how marketplaces end up promising something they cannot deliver. magraft states which model is in play before the work, not after it goes wrong.
Who am I actually contracting?
It depends on the model, and it is written down each time. On an introduction and most quotes, the provider. On a managed project, magraft.
Does magraft hold my money?
Only where the payment structure is approved in that country. Holding client funds is regulated differently in each of the four markets, so magraft does not casually call anything escrow.
