[CLIENT FILLS: legal review] These terms are written to describe how magraft actually works in each of its four markets. They have not been settled by counsel in Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia or South Africa, and fund holding, worker classification and placement each carry different obligations in each country. Do not publish them without that review.
1. What magraft is
magraft.com is a list of providers and an introduction service for physical work on property and premises, operated by Cabanga Platforms trading as Cabanga Platforms. Depending on the job, magraft acts as an introducer, a booking platform, a quote platform, or the contracting party on a managed project. Which one applies is stated before the work begins.
2. What magraft is not
magraft is not an employer, an employment agency, an insurer or a guarantor of work it did not control. A provider mark records what was checked. It is not a promise about future conduct or workmanship.
3. Providers
A listing is placed by the provider. Until the confirmation gate is completed and a person at magraft has reviewed the record, the listing carries no mark and nothing about it is claimed. A mark is dated and expires. Removing a record removes the mark with it.
4. Quotes, variations and scope
Work that needs a price is quoted before it starts. Materials and exclusions are stated. A variation must be approved in writing before it is carried out, with its effect on price and time.
5. Payments
Payment structures differ by country and are only offered where they are lawful and approved with the relevant payment provider. magraft does not describe any arrangement as escrow unless it is one.
6. Placement and domestic work
Where magraft introduces a household or business to a worker, the engagement is between those parties. magraft takes no share of a wage at any time. [CLIENT FILLS: country-specific placement position, per market].
7. Conduct
Both sides accept a conduct standard: the engagement is professional and commercial, agreed terms are honoured, and safety is not traded away for speed. A breach can remove a listing or a client account.
8. Complaints
Tell the desk. On a booking or a managed job, magraft applies the rework, replacement and escalation rules that were stated when the job was agreed. On an introduction, magraft can act only as far as the introduction went.
